Description
Minutes of a board meeting held on 3rd January 1903 in which the following was discussed: a portrait was gifted to the Director and the thanks of the board was passed to the donor. The Director submitted the estimates for the year 1903-1904 to the board and sent these, along with a cover letter, to the Treasury, which were both approved by the board. The board considered the topic of re-opening the Gallery and instructed the Director to make arrangements to do so as soon as the contractors had finished their work. The re-opening was to be attended by Governors and Guardians, with press presence limited.
