Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 8th December 1887 in which the following was discussed: a loan request for two paintings from the Royal Academy. Appointment of a new Porter, Edmund Boyle, as he had successfully attained his Civil Service Certificate. The Director's report for the year 1886 was read. 74,779 visitors noted. A numbered list of 25 purchases is displayed. Mention of pictures lent to the Royal Academy and two pictures that were glazed listed.
