Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 22nd April 1886 in which the following was discussed: a list of pictures purchased submitted including some pictures purchased at the Graham Sale. It was noted that they had now exhausted their grant for 1885-86. The Director stated that there was reason to believe the Fra Angelico picture [NGI 242] was one of seven that had formed the alter of The Church of San Marco, Florence. Discussion of the judging and judges for the Taylor Prize (a note in pencil from a later date).
