Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 25th February 1864 in which the following was discussed: report 'the Gallery has been open 15 working days and three Sundays'. Recorded - aggregate attendance 17,537 visitors weekdays. Aggregate for the three Sundays 9,906. Total visitors until today 27,781. 2,316 Catalogues sold. It was ordered - wives and children of donors free entry. That the Gallery be open to the public by gaslight on Tuesday evenings. Three further donations announced. Some discussion of the space for visiting carriages.
