Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 2nd April 1863 in which the following was discussed: a letter of reply to a letter from the Treasury was read discussing the appointment of Registrar. Discussion about the opening of the Gallery on a Sunday. Discussion about the inauguration of the Dargan Statue. Resolution about the placing of the Dargan Statue. Mr Mulvany resigns as a member of the Governors to take up his role as director. A letter was read adding to the list of names outlined in a letter read at a previous meeting in favour of Sunday opening.
