Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 25th June 1862 in which the following was discussed: discussion about grant applications to the Treasury. Discussion about the purchase of the 'pictures from Rome'. A breakdown of prices of the 16 pictures from Signor Aducci and incurred expenses. 'Letter from the Lord Chancellor offering to accept a sum of £2000 in full for his claim of £3147.78 advanced for his purchase of pictures at Rome'.
