Description
Minutes of a board meeting held on 3rd October 1872 in which the following was discussed: letter discussing the placement of a lock on the gate of the Gallery facing Merrion Square in order to ensure the security of present and future acquisitions. The board resolved that they unfortunately had no choice but to officially dismiss their Registrar, Mr Killingly, due to the pressures resulting from the case against him.
