Description
Minutes of a board meeting held on 16th February 1871 in which the following was discussed: a letter received from the Treasury in regards to increasing the salary of the Registrar, which was refused by the Lord Commissioner. They also received a letter from The National Gallery in London discussing the Turner drawings which were on loan to The National Gallery of Ireland. The drawings were due to be returned soon but The Gallery in London would send a collection of an equal size to replace them. The Director's annual report for the previous year is also included.
