Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 3rd March 1860 in which the following was discussed: some discussion of costs between the Dargan Institute and the National Gallery. A Mr Baschet from Waterford offered for sale a red and white chalk cartoon after Raffaelle's (Raphael) School of Athens that used to belong to Letitia Bonaparte Wyse. Price £50. The board instructed the Secretary to offer £30. Some discussion about scheme to judge an art competition (the Taylor Prize).
