Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 18th June 1859 in which the following was discussed: the board is informed that false glazed windows are about to be inserted in the front of the building to observe uniformity between the 'Dublin Society's Museum opposite'. The board record their strong objection to this as it is contrary to the 'requirements of good taste'. The board recommend filling the windows with blank cut stone.
