Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 2nd January 1858 in which the following was discussed: a letter from the Treasury was read that explained the sums already provided were considered to be final. A new board member, Mr Catterson Smith [on NGI Board 1858 to 1908], from the Royal Hibernian Academy elected to take the vacant seat. The appointment of a member of the Royal Dublin Society to the board was also considered.
