Minutes of board meeting held on 15th September 1856 in which the following was discussed: it was resolved to provide funds to purchase 13 paintings from Signor Aducci of Rome. The pictures are listed and numbered, current attributions listed as follows: "The nativity" by Francesco Pascucci [NGI 1918], "Crucifixion" by Antonio Panico [NGI 89], "St. Joseph's Dream" by Pier Francesco Mola [NGI 1893], "Apotheosis of St Carlo Borromeo" by Giulio Cesare Procacinni" [NGI 1820], "The Virgin Glorified" by Jacopo Palma Il Giovane [NGI 68], "St Pancrazio" by an Uknown artist, Rome, 17th century [NGI 1911], "Christ curing one possessed by the Devil" by Charles Antoine Coypel [NGI 113], The calling of the Sons of Zebedee" attributed to Arnould de Vuez [NGI 1889], "St Jerome in the desert" by Bartolomeo Passarott [NGI 1892], "The Last Supper" by Lanfranco [NGI 67], "The miracle of the loaves and fishes" by Lanfranco [NGI 72], "Cupid chastised" by Ignaz Stern [NGI 1739] and "Assumption of the Virgin" by Charles Poersen [NGI 1896]. The treasurers were appointed and the Bank of Ireland was the agreed as the Gallery's banker.
