Minutes of a board meeting held on 6th April 1865 in which the following was discussed: a report from the Director about his recent trip to London with the aim of purchasing pictures, and more information and memorandums about a purchasing grant for artwork. Lists the total of money received thus far as being £5567 15s 5p. Also discussed communication between the board and the Treasury.
