Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 14 North Frederick St, Dublin. On the letter, Lane has drawn a sketch of the Municipal Gallery Bridge Site with a vehicular crossing beside it, telling Harrison that [Edwin] Lutyens is not pleased with it but it would not be difficult to add the crossing. Lane also discusses ceding the 'Master Baby' by [William Quiller Orchardson] to the Edinburgh National Gallery. Lane suggests that Lutyens' designs and photographs be shown to the Town Planning Committee.
