Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison at 6 Linden Gardens, Bayswater, London N. Lane writes that he will buy a silver cup for his aunt Lady Gregory and will send it to her to be inscribed. He also tells her he has bought 'Master Baby' by [Orchardson] and 'Sleeping Beauty' by Burne-Jones. Enclosed are two typescript letters. The first is a letter from the office of Edwin Lutyens offering to allow more time for Mr Walcot's drawings. The second is from Mr Walcot explaining that he can have three drawings of Lutyens' plan of the Bridge Site completed by the 10th of June.
