Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 14 North Frederick St, Dublin, noting a few mistakes in Harrison's updated list of works on show in the Municipal Gallery. He asks her to write a note that the 'important' work by [John Singer] Sargent, [Philip Wilson] Steer and Bordin are in his home in London owing to lack of wall space in Dublin. He ends the letter writing that he has heard that people in Dublin are 'more interested in gambling "Marconi" than in the Home Rule bill'.
