Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Sarah Cecilia Harrison to Hugh Lane at Kilcoy Castle, Killearnan, Ross Shire, sympathising with Lane over his frustration with finding a building for the Municipal Gallery and asks him to 'please try not to be too impatient with Dublin'. She enquires how other galleries in England are managed to help them in drafting a scheme and that Dublin Corporation do not have the capacity to run the gallery correctly if it is established. She concludes the letter recommending that Lane write an official letter rescinding his offer of pictures to Dublin.
