Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 33 Harcourt St, Dublin, writing about the “Romney” portrait who Sir Horan believes was painted by the young Catterson-Smith. However, Sir Horan now writes to say that it had belonged to the older Catterson-Smith. Lane also writes of his worry regarding the light and colour of the walls for an upcoming exhibition.
