Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 33 Harcourt St, Dublin, writing that Professor [Alphonse] Legros has not yet replied to his letter and asks Harrison to 'keep him up to the mark.' Lane he wishes to have a painting in colour by him. He also writes that the exhibition opens on Tuesday and that she should 'look in' on Monday as that is Press Day and not many people will be in attendance.
