Description
Handwritten letter in which O’Kelly writes that he has received a depressing letter from Bernadette O’Kelly: she has struggled to find employment in London and the remuneration for labour is very small. O’Kelly requests Herbert’s assistance in helping her find work in New York. He goes on to describe Bernadette O’Kelly’s personality and skills. O’Kelly mentions that he has been given a studio in the residential home and that he spends time painting there after his daily walk in the woods.
