Description
Handwritten letter from Gertrude Lawlor to James Herbert, accompanied by an envelope. Lawlor thanks James for sending £30 to Bernadette O’Kelly, who will write to James as soon as she is well enough. O'Kelly is home and they hope to go to the sea as soon as she feels well. Section of letter dated 28 July 1929 mentions a letter received from James the previous day. Lawlor writes that she will send on the photographs and the sizes of the pictures soon. According to the doctors, Bernadette O’Kelly is now suffering from shock. Lawlor sends regards to James’s wife and Jessie about whom they have often heard from Aloysius O'Kelly.
