Unsigned typescript copy of a letter from Lucius O'Callaghan (Director, National Gallery of Ireland) to George Russell in which he deliberates on the types of bequests relevant to a public gallery such as the National Gallery of Ireland. He uses the Lewis Bequest given to the National Gallery, London as the quintessential example of the most useful form of bequest to a public gallery.
