Letter from Roderic O’Conor to Renée Honta
Download: view IIIF manifest
Description
Handwritten letter in French in which O’Conor writes that he has sent Honta a box of watercolour paints with brushes, drawing pad and pencil. He expects her to bring some masterpieces with her when she returns. There has been a recent newspaper report of a captured [hot air] balloon at Les Invalides – at first O’Conor thought it might be Honta but then thought she had not had the time to put on so much weight. O’Conor thinks of her very often despite the sirens which ‘sing in the night!’
