Description
Handwritten letter, addressed from 102 Rue du Cherche-Midi, Paris, in which O'Conor apologises for not having written sooner to congratulate Bell on his son's birth. The Flaubert edition has been sent to Bell. O'Conor disagrees with Bell's recent praise of [Eugene Carriere] in his description of the International [Exhibition]. O'Conor has seen some Van Goghs noting they are "wonderful expressions of character pushed to the point of hallucination." O'Conor is sending five or six things to the 'Independents'.
